Designed for teachers, special educators and anyone implementing behavior or classroom management practices, RewardTimer will allow you to catch students being good, improve classroom behavior, and utilize principles of behaviorism. In the fixed rewards screen, users enter the total number of minutes and the reward interval then RewardTimer will sound a tone at each fixed interval. In the variable rewards screen, users enter the total number of minutes and the desired number of reward opportunities for that time period, then RewardTimer will sound a tone on a random schedule.
RewardTimer does more than sound tones, both screens allow for data collection. Users can record if the student or class earned the reward at the given interval. Tapping the plus or minus buttons allows users to tally the number earned and simultaneously maintain a percentage of the number earned out of the total number of reward opportunities. RewardTimer can send the data as an attachment (.csv format) via email for use in spreadsheet programs.
Fixed schedules have been shown to be useful for establishing responses and interval schedules are useful for maintaining steady rates of responses. RewardTimer puts whole group contingency systems in the palm of your hand. Discount for educational institutions applies.
